Development notes

Right now things are starting to fall on it's place. Most of the planning is done, and now we are working on the engine itself. Some of the GUI is also on the desk, so it wont be long before we can start the beta. More screens coming up soon.

We are planning to open a forum where you can post your ideas / critisism and maybe teach me some proper english. :)

Right now we discuss how much flash-elements it should be in the game. Another idea is to make a PDA-port of the game, so that we can check up our worlds on the bus.

World creation

Mistropia

Choose a name

First of all you have to choose a name for your world. Feel free to pick any name, but please stay a little in character here. Dont choose silly names. Remeber that all your ships are named like this "World name " - Class, here is an example: I choose to name my world to Docarian IV. My fighter class starships are named "Docarian IV Fighter", and my battlecruisers are named "Docarian IV Battlecruiser".

Design your flag

Here you can design your flag for your world.

Choose your attributes

Now its time to shape the foundation your world stands on. This is important.

Alternatives is as follows:

Political ideology

  • Democracy
  • Communism
  • Facism
  • Fedual
  • Technocracy

Democracy
The foundation of free will. All seats are directly selected by the good(?) people.
Bonuses:
+ 5% Reseach
+ 5% Engineering
+ 5% Military

Communism

Our big brother knows best. If you don't agree you will live the rest of your life between four walls.
Bonuses:
+ 10% Engineering
+ 8% Military
- 3% Research
- 20% starting credits

Facism
Our leader chosed bravely to be in charge. So we just have to obey.
Bonuses:
+ 12% Military
+ 3% Engineering

Fedual
Our leader is choosen by God himself. And we don't need elections, because his siblings gladly takes over.
Bonuses:
+ 100% starting credits
+ 10% Military

Technocracy
Our machines knows, they calculate our future.
Bonuses:

Ateism
There is no god, thank god.

Weird God
Our God is special. Our God is green, blue and invicible. Our God is from space.

There is a varity of different buildings in the game. Here are some of them:

Mining facility

There is one type of mining facility for each of the six different minerals.

Power plants

Here are the different types of power plants:

  • Coal Power Plant - output apx 20 EnP
  • Solar Panel Plant - output apx 50 EnP
  • Fision Power Plant - output apx 100 EnP
  • Fusion Power Plant - output apx 250 EnP
  • Astral Power Plant - output apx 1000 EnP
EnP = Energi Points
